Mission Mannya Committee Members

Mission Mannya is served by a committee of 5 members who are committed to the association's common goals. 

• The two co-founders, Dr Conor McDonald and Dr Joe Wackett, are serving as co-presidents of the committee

• Ms Xanthe Cerutti - association’s secretary

• Dr Sophie Cerutti - community engagement officer

• Dr Fred Gorman - treasurer

Regarding on the ground leadership of the overseas component of our activities, a medical lead is appointed for each trip (i.e. for each cluster of outreach programs) from the pool of doctors selected. The role of this person is to act as the key liaison for the Australian members of the team. They will work closely with our hosts and our Ugandan health leader partners to ensure the smooth running of our operation in Uganda. For the 2024 medical outreach program, the medical leaders will be Dr Joe Wackett and Dr Conor McDonald.
